Samuel Wan's Testimony

Hi sup, I’m samwan and here’s a little bit about my experience and Christian journey :) I’m a third gen Christian, but I only started going to Sunday school when I was in p5. Thinking about it now, I went to Sunday school for the wrong reasons. It wasn’t till 2 years after during my first youth camp, that I experienced God’s touch in my heart for the first time. So after that, I was trying my best to act holy but that came to an end quickly. Not putting God down, just that my human self was quick to give in to temptations and had started to revert to my other self. • In June 2018, I had my first church camp and FOPx (festival of praise) in July. Church camp got me thinking and realising how much I had drifted from the holy person I tried to be just months ago, and FOPx really kicked things off again. I’m pretty sure God wanted me to see all the things he was doing, so I prayed and asked for help with that. Slowly I started to realise and see all of the good things that God had done, was doing, and knew that he wasn’t going to stop there. Miracles really happened- bringing one of my close friends to church, putting an end to my swearing, helping me grow patient towards my demented Grandmother, helping me be more aware of and experiencing his love more and more, and many other great things that impacted not only my life, but many others’ lives as well. Since then, God has and still is moving in my life, through every trial, and He is always with me in the fire. Looking back, I’ve done so much more in the past year than in my entire life, and it’s all thanks to God.

I give thanks Him, so much, for protecting my relationships, family, showing me grace time and time again, growing my faith, strengthening me spiritually, speaking to and spending time with me, loving me endlessly and so so much more.
